March 25, 2009
They say when it rains, it pours. How true could that be? Literally. Blue Roast 2009. March 24, I tried to recall the happenings during last year’s senior party and remembered that that day wasn’t really very sunny. There were occasional drizzles, which would eventually stop. Rain party wasn’t very ideal especially when it was to be held in an open field such as Bellarmine’s (JUST imagine Bonfire 2008). And so I thought, it would be very weird if it would rain again this year when it has been scorching hot for the past few days. But guess what, it did, with matching cranky thunders before I left my house. (Summer here in the Philippines could really be very strange too.)
How can I leave the house without me taking pictures of myself? Teehee, sorry for the extreme level of vanity. (If you can’t take it, then please spare your time and don’t view. ;) lol!)
It has been a while since I last saw my college friends and Blue Roast did it for us. Though I enjoyed last year’s Blue Roast way better than this year’s (considering the fact that I was there to basically pick up trash and set up the place and I wasn’t even a senior), the latter made me reminisce a lot about my college life and enjoy the company of my friends without all the acads stress. Also, the vibe made me more aware of my soon to come graduation day.
Arrived at around 8pm, but my blockmates weren’t there yet. Good thing I saw Kath, we roamed around for a bit and we took a picture with Father Ben. This is my very first. Thanks, Kath! Yey!
“Holding on to this Blue Rose until someone gives me one.” Haha! Fortunately, I went home holding a rose, which turned out to be the very same that I claimed from the team. Boo! But hey, I would like to believe that they were just too shy to approach me. Hahaha! Kidding aside, I made someone very happy and giddy that night. I’m very happy for my friend, R. I heard that she should be getting her Blue rose today! (I hope she does!) I missed you! I hope this is the start of your love life with D.
Down from the hill, Down to the world go I; Rememb'ring still, How the bright Blue Eagles fly.
Win or lose, it's the school we choose; This is the place where we belong.
Thanks for the happy times, Ateneo. I will definitely miss you lots.
